With rain and wind moving across Alabama,
NASCAR couldn't find a window to get in the Aaron's 499 at the Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday so the race has been postponed until noon ET on Monday on FX and some FOX stations. On Saturday, Elliott Sadler won his seventh career pole and his sixth top-six start in the last seven races at Talladega. He leads the field to green on his 31st birthday.
Led by Sadler, all seven of the Robert Yates Racing and Roush Racing will start in the top 12 with Ford seeking its second consecutive win at Talladega, where Sadler's Yates' teammate, Dale Jarrett, snapped Chevrolet's 13-race winning streak last fall.
The Bowtie Brigade will be led by Tony Stewart who qualified 2nd, a place with which Stewart is familiar at Talladega. The two-time Cup champ has five runner-up finishes in the last 10 races at the track
